How can we best serve others? Is it by identifying the suffering in our own hearts and making that recognition the starting point of our service? As healers, we must be willing to go beyond our “roles” and leave ourselves open as fellow human beings with the same wounds and suffering as those we try to serve. We must make peace with our own mortality to be able to heal others. Please join us as Reverend Anthony Turney, a minister at Grace Cathedral, speaks of his own journey and experience as a counselor, minister and healer.
Please bring any LGBT professional healers, or non-healers who you think may want to be a part of our community.
This presentation / workshop will take place from 3pm to 4:30, and will have a social "mixer" from 4:30 to 6pm.
